The main purpose of this section is to make the process of publishing Nikolai's letters as transparent as possible, as well as to list those simple rules we would like to follow to make the process of publication as simple and effective as possible. By publishing your correspondence on the site, you agree to the policy as described below.
- No letter is published before it is approved of by the editors.
- The editors have the right to edit any proposed material to ensure that it meets the site policy as described in the given document. The editors have the right to reject publication of the material that does not meet the site policy.
- The author guarantees the authenticity of the materials suggested for publication on the site and the date when they were written. The author agrees to forward the original letter upon the editors' request.
- The purpose of the site is to make Nikolai Khomenko's (NK) ideas available for the wider community. Parts of the published document that were not written by NK should be included only if they are necessary for understanding NK's texts.
- The site is dedicated to the NK's ideas related to the topic of OTSM-TRIZ. Fragments of the letters dealing with other topics should be excluded when publishing.
- Authors are advised to avoid publishing fragments of correspondence when NK gives personal characteristics of other people or their activities. Should such a fragment be essential for understanding the main idea of the letter, please omit the name of the person referred to and the organisation he/she belongs to.
- NK's texts should be kept intact to the extent possible. When certain editing is made, please use the following conventions:
7.1. <...> for the parts of NK's text that are omitted
7.2. If the author's text is added (e.g. for including the question, NK answered to), it is to be typed in italics and the author is to be clearly marked in brackets, e.g. this is my question to NK (Alexander Sokol)
7.3. Use XX instead of the names of people and organisations NK refers to.
